“Where have you been, Ben?” started in September
2007 when I sent copies of my book Amazing Ben Franklin Inventions You
Can Build Yourself to 15 teachers all over the country. It was my way
of sharing my passion for teaching and history.
Participating in the project is easy: If you receive a copy, please share the book with your students and maybe have some fun doing a project or two. (Of course, you can always go buy a copy and start it off yourself, too!) Next, forward the book to another classroom somewhere in the country along with a class letter sharing information about your city or state. Finally, add your name, grade, city and state to the list of places Ben has been, if you’d like. (Note: only teacher’s names will be used. If you are a home school family, only your child’s first name and last initial will be posted and then only with a parent’s permission.)
Contact me here to add your name to the list. (You must be a grown up to add your name! Be sure to include your name, grade, city and state in your message to me) Note to teachers and home school families: If you’d like a copy of Amazing Ben Franklin Inventions You Can Build Yourself to participate in the project or if you have one but don't know where to send it next, email me and I'll try to make matches when I can. |
